Kirstin M. Erickson, Associate

Kirstin M. Erickson joined Mauck & Baker as an Associate Attorney after practicing health law where she represented veterans in disability cases and physicians, medical providers, and medical groups in professional negligence lawsuits. During law school at DePaul University, Kirstin participated in several internships to learn mediation, family law, employment law, and international criminal law. She was a member of Appellate Moot Court Society and received the CALI award in three courses, Legal Writing I, Professional Responsibility, and Litigation Lab.

Prior to receiving her law degree, Kirstin was a high school educator and taught in local and international schools. Kirstin’s teaching and international experience have developed Kirstin into an advocate who can easily understand a variety of perspectives which benefits her when creating arguments to support her clients. More than anything, Kirstin wants to counsel people in navigating their legal issues with ease while reaching their desired goal.

In her spare time, Kirstin enjoys international travel, biking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
